Reporting years are not verified for every imported field. Historical averages are not current prices or aid offers; public net-price averages may cover in-state students. The four-year scenario assumes unchanged cost and aid, excluding inflation and loan interest.

Georgia Tech or UGA: residency changes the early-action calendar

Application scope: First-year applicants. Georgia Tech: 2026–2027 application calendar; UGA: published first-year guidance without an explicit entry-year label on the cited pages.

Georgia Tech early-action and scholarship deadlines

Georgia Tech's Early Action 1 covers Georgia high-school students and Georgia residents attending school elsewhere. Other applicants use Early Action 2. For 2026–2027, the application deadlines are October 15 and November 2 respectively. Academic and merit-scholarship consideration requires an Early Action application; document and test-score deadlines are separate. UGA first-year calendar

UGA lists October 15 for Early Action and January 1 for Regular Decision. Foundation Fellowship and Honors applications have their own dates. Check each submission requirement instead of treating an admission application as the completion of every scholarship application. Official source: UGA first-year calendar.

UGA intended majors

UGA says it does not limit first-year admission by intended major. That statement describes university admission; check the program's later entry or progression requirements before assuming that every intended major is already secured. Official source: UGA intended majors.

Put the differences into your decision

Match the application plan to your high-school location and residency, then compare the actual curriculum. For aid, check scholarship eligibility and renewal rules against each official calculator; an application deadline does not establish in-state tuition eligibility.

What do graduation outcomes tell me?

The six-year rate describes an institution-level historical cohort. It does not predict your outcome or necessarily describe transfer, part-time or major-specific experiences. Ask each college about completion in your major, advising, required course availability and support.

Decide what to verify next

  1. Check admission to your intended major and current testing policy.
  2. Run each official cost calculator with the same household assumptions.
  3. Compare renewable grants, remaining budget gaps and deadlines.

Saved categories start as target placeholders; they do not assess personal admission chances. Explore academic fit or check affordability.
