Can I get into college with a 1000 SAT?
Yes. Many colleges have SAT medians at or below 1100, and many test-optional campuses will omit the score. A 1000 is a reach at selective universities.
Should I submit a 1000 SAT?
Submit it only when it is near or above that campus median. Otherwise apply test-optional and put energy into GPA and essays.
Is ACT better if my SAT is 1000?
Only if your ACT percentile is clearly stronger. Do not take a second test just to collect another low score.
